Custom yacht linens: FAQs
What makes MIRA linens different?
Think of Mira as your own personal soft goods factory, if you can imagine it, we can make it for you. Since we solely work on yachts, all of our materials and final products are of the absolute best quality, keeping in mind yacht storage, laundry centers and crew.
Do you charge extra for custom sizes?
No. Whether the berth is a standard queen or an odd wedge in the forepeak, the price is the price. Custom sizing is our default, not an upsell.
What if I order something custom and it does not fit?
In the rare event that it slips our QC, where we re-measure to the specs provided, we will re-supply the piece in a rush order.
How long does an order take to reach me?
In a normal yacht order of about 20-30 items, our production time is right around 2 weeks, and depending on where the yacht is, usually another week in transit.
Where are you based and where do you deliver?
We are headquartered in Coral Gables, FL but we understand yachts are made to travel, so we deliver world wide.
What towels are actually the nicest? There are so many.
This is true, there are many types of towels, but the sweet spot we’ve found over the years for yachts is 550GSM 24/2 pure cotton for the Interior guest cabins. For Beach towels, most of our customers order a bit lighter towels for quicker dry times, around 400-450 GSM 16/1.
How does the process work?
Send us your specs, cabin list, or GA drawings — or we’ll come aboard and measure. We present materials and pricing per cabin, then produce, quality-check, and deliver to your marina.
